Topeka Futures

Congratulations go out to Rebecca Salaway for winning the Topeka Futures in the Girls 12 & under division. Rebecca, or “sprinkles” as she is known in the KC United Tennis academy won the finals in convincing fashion 6-1, 6-0. Salaway is poised and ready to make an impact on the Missouri Valley Section this summer with her win in Topeka.Other KCUT notables were Jackson O’Gorman Bean and Mollie Cooper who both got to the finals in the 16’s and 18’s respectively. And Jake Ohlhausen beat fellow KCUT teammate John Rodgers in the 3rd/4th playoff match in the Boys 18’s division.
Look out for these guys this summer as they hit the Missouri Valley circuit, as well as national competitions.
